Description
This is a Chinese Wucai porcelain jar featuring a figural landscape often referred to as a “boys” jar. Wucai (five-color) decoration, which uses a combination of underglaze blue and overglaze enamel colors like red, green, and yellow. These vessels were traditionally used to store wine, preserved fruits or vegetables.
In very good condition with surface wear consistent with age and use, no cracks or major flaws. (Missing the lid. It is unknown if there would have been an accompanying lid as there is no wear around the rim suggesting such)
