This object is a Chinese Dehua porcelain “Blanc de Chine” libation cup, traditionally featuring applied relief decorations like dragons, tigers, deer, and cranes. Made from creamy-white porcelain at the Dehua kilns in Fujian, China, a tradition dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. Shaped typically after rhinoceros horn cups, embellished with hand-applied molded motifs depicting mythical or natural fauna in relief.
