This piece is a poly chrome terra cotta, equestrian figure from the Chinese Tang Dynasty (618–906 AD). It features a mold-built earthenware horse and rider with traces of original red pigment.
In good condition with some mild firing flaws. The original polychrome pigment has worn slightly in some areas and the surface shows some wear and flaws consistent with use and its age
