This is a pair of vintage Chinese hexagonal tea caddies featuring a pewter frame with inset Karaki Zietan (Rosewood) panels.These containers are traditional tea ceremonial vessels, commonly referred to in Japanese as "Sado" utensils.
They are in good original condition with surface wear consistent with age and use, there are no cracks or major flaws and marked with chop stamps on the bottom.
