A pair of Qing dynasty, Guangxu Emperor (1875 - 1908) Famille rose Fu bats and ruyi clouds reward vase. The vase shape is globular and tapers to a straight neck with Fu Bat and Ruyi Cloud decorative patterning. The word for bat in Chinese sounds like the word for “luck,” and the bat has become an auspicious symbol representing luck.
Very Good, original condition with only wear from use and and age.
