Description
This large Chinese porcelain powder blue glazed jar with gilt embellishments has bronze doree mounts. The jar has been drilled for lamp conversion. The gilt bronze base is separate from the jar, but the gilt bronze cap is affixed, and cannot be removed.
This powder blue jar is in good original condition. The jar was separated from its lid at some point and the lid was replaced with the aforementioned gilt bronze
Good, original condition. Has a couple of firing flaws shown in detail photo and a small scuff also shown in detail. Otherwise the jar shows wear consistent with age and use.
